Day 01: Europe / Delhi
Arrive Delhi in the night. Transfer to hotel & Overnight
Day 02: Delhi / Srinagar ( Flight)
Morning transfer to airport to connect flight for Srinagar. On arrival, transfer to House Boat. Day free for independent activities. Overnight at House Boat.
Day 03: Srinagar
Morning leave for the visit of the Mughal Gardens. Cheshmashahi the first Mughal garden built at a height above the city has only three tethe Nishat Bagh, which has several terraces, a central watercourse and the zabarwan hills. Last of all visit Shalimar Bagh shaded by magnificent chinar trees, with a series of stone pavilions and flowing water with paint box bright flowerbeds. Afternoon visit the Hazratbal mosque made of white marble with a dome and a minaret. This is the repository of a single hair of the Prophet Mohammed. Return and overnight at House Boat
Day 04: Srinagar
Morning leave for the visit of the Shankaracharya temple devoted to Lord Shiva. The philosopher Shankaracharya stayed at this site to revive sanatan dharma. Afternoon enjoy the Shikara ride around Dal Lake and Nagin Lake. Overnight at House Boat.
Day 05: Srinagar / Gulmarg / Srinagar (112 Km)
Morning full day excursion to Gulmarg means meadows of flowers. A huge cup shaped meadow, lush and green with slopes which looks like a fantasy set in a film. Proceed further on a pony trek upwards to Khilanmarg, Kongdori and seven springs. Gulmarg also has one of the world’s highest green golf courses and in winter, it is country’s premier skiing resort. Return to Srinagar and overnight at House Boat.
Day 06: Srinagar / Pahalgam / Srinagar (186 Km)
Morning, full day excursion to Pahalgam means valley of shepherd set between fairly steep hills. It is Kashmir’s premier resort; cool even during the height of summer. The most beautiful of these is the huge, undulating meadow of Baisaran, surrounded by thickly wooded forests of pine. Visit the Shiva temple considered to be Kashmir's oldest existing temple dating to the 8th Century. Enjoy the natural beauty of the valley Return to Srinagar and overnight at House Boat.
Day 07: Srinagar / Sonmarg / Srinagar
Morning leave by surface for Sonamarg means ‘meadow of gold’ due to its backdrop of snowy mountains against the blue sky. The Sindh meanders along here and abounds with trout and mahseer. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiuias glacier - a major attraction during the summer months. It is the starting point of a major trek passing several mountain lakes - Vishansar, Kishansar, Gadsar, Satsar and Gangahal. Return to Srinagar and overnight at House Boat.
Day 08: Srinagar
Morning walk through the old streets of Srinagar city. With its almost medieval charm, the old city of Srinagar has sights, smells and sounds to enchant the most jaded traveler. Its labyrinthine roads and bustling bazaars are a photographer's delight. Traditionally dressed men and women on their way to the city's many mosques and shrines, burnt brick buildings with their rich warm color, these are some of the old city's moods which linger in the corners of a traveler's mind, long after one leaves Kashmir. Afternoon at leisure or shopping. Overnight at House Boat.
Day 09: Srinagar / Delhi ( Flight)
Morning transfer to airport to connect return flight for Delhi. On arrival in Delhi leave for the visit of New Delhi. Designed in 1911 by the British, it is one of the greenest capitals in the world. Visit the India Gate; Parliament Building; the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the official residence of the President of India. Drive past the government buildings and presidential palace along the broad and majestic Rajpath, Diplomatic enclave etc. Visit the impressive Qutab Minar, a 234-foot sandstone tower. Later in the evening, transfer to International airport.
Day 10: Delhi / Europe
